This year’s EMEA User Symposium, will be spread across two days, running from 8.30am on 9th of October until lunchtime on the 10th of October.
Join us in Cambridge to see presentations from customers, hear from our expert team and network with your peers.
During the Symposium, you will have the opportunity to meet with our Support team who will be onsite for the duration of the event. If you would like to arrange a meeting with the team, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and they will be happy to confirm a time.
The Agenda will focus on key areas for industry – Biologics, Discovery Chemistry, Screening, and Development Chemistry.
Day 1 - In addition to customer presentations from AbbVie, Clariant & Roche, Dotmatics will share the Development Roadmap and highlight the Dotmatics Platform, Screening Ultra, and Formulations.
After a full day of learning you are invited to join us for reception and dinner where you can continue to network with your peers in a more relaxed environment.
Day 2 – Starts with a choice of Workshop sessions followed by a ‘Futures’ session. This session encompasses Lab of the Future, AI, ML, and Semantics, highlighting the strength in our strategic partners, such as TetraScience, to deliver greater functionality to our customers.
Lunch is provided to end the Symposium and give a final opportunity to network or ask questions of our scientific team.

Participants will receive an introduction to the new user interface in version 5.5 together with ideas of how one can improve user experience of Browser through configuration. A selection of admin tips and tricks will be explored. This session is suitable for admins or general users seeking ideas on how to improve their Browser environment.
Vortex has many advanced chemical and biological algorithms but also a host of useful features that can be used regardless of the type of data you work with. This workshop will explore some of the tools that Vortex offers to manipulate, manage and analyse data. Participants will learn how to customise the interface to suit their needs. This workshop is aimed at all Vortex users, regardless of domain or expertise.
Launched in version 5.4, Screening Ultra takes plate-based screening to the next level. Participants will be shown key improvements over classic Studies which enable better performance, visualisation and simplification of complex analyses. Preview upcoming features including dedicated kinetics support. Suitable for those engaged in plate-based screening.
Make integration with 3rd party systems easier with Dotmatics suite of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Learn what APIs are and how you can use them to programmatically interact with the entire platform. From registration, to data processing and querying, discover how to create entire workflows in Dotmatics. This workshop will interest data scientists wishing to explore integration and automation opportunities.
This summer saw the launch of the latest Bioregister offering. Packed with new features including advanced complex registration and improved support for sequence registration and bulk upload. As well as enhanced admin options, participants will also see what the future holds for biological registration. A great insight for existing Bioregister customers and those seeking a new registration system for biological and pseudo-biological entities.
Bring order and sense to the data in your project with Clarity, the new tool dedicated to drug discovery scientists. Guided workflows allow you to analyse SAR with ease from your web browser. As well as offering a demonstration of several workflows, this session will allow you to find out more about this upcoming product and stay in touch with developments as it approaches the market. Especially suitable for medicinal chemists and scientists engaged in small molecule drug discovery.
Find out more about another exciting new cheminformatics solution, Reaction Explorer, which will be an invaluable tool for data mining your ELN and will ease the pain for compiling patents. Come and meet the team and learn how to keep up to date with developments of this upcoming product. Got a chemistry ELN? Need to write patents? Then this is for you.
Regardless of your discipline you probably need to store things, move them around and work out how much you have left. Inventory provides a solution for everyone and now it’s getting better!
