Title

Overview
A selection of admin tips and tricks will be explored. This breakout is suitable for admins or general users seeking ideas on how to improve their Browser environment.

Presenters
Tina Wilkinson, Support Specialist Team Leader

Overview
In this presentation, we will highlight the new capabilities of Screening Ultra. Learn about how multiplexed assays are processed and how this multidimensional results can be easily interpreted in Screening Ultra. This session will also cover all enhanced capabilities for data input such as definition of replicates and sample validation and the latest analysis and visualization enhancements, including enhanced curve review, expanded capabilities for displaying meta-data and the new analysis overview section to see all results for a given sample in a single row.

Presenters
Laura Huerta Martinez, Senior Application Scientist
Michelle Heathcote, Application Scientist

Overview
Parallel Chemistry Workflows have been significantly enhanced by the introduction of new features in Rw and Studies Notebook. The session will focus on the improved integration between the two modules.

Presenters
Gabriele Magarò, Senior Application Scientist

Overview
A demonstration of the latest Formulation ELN ingredients capture page, followed by a look at the plan for future development.

Presenters
Mathew Bryant, Application Scientist

OverviewA notable trend in the drug discovery industry is the growing diversity of therapeutic entity-types being developed (non-natural molecules, specifically designed to access disease target locations and binding sites that are challenging for traditional small molecule or natural biologic approaches). The development of these entities typically involves cross-functional teams of chemists and biologists. The diversity of novel entity types and the need to support cross-functional research teams places substantial burdens on an informatics system to support this science and has typically led to significant compromises in functionality and the ability to support both chemists and biologists. Too often, organizations have only been able to properly store chemical structures or biological sequences, or they try to combine them in systems that weren’t built for both.

In this breakout session, we will demonstrate the new features of the Bioregister software (2020.1) from Dotmatics, which is dedicated to supporting this type of research. We will highlight key features of an informatics solution that supports research of novel, non-natural drug entities such as bicyclic and stapled peptides, antibody- and peptide-drug conjugates, and non-natural RNAs.

Presenters
Clark Mills, Senior Application Scientist

Overview
This session will be on the features that cover functionality for Molecular Biology introduced to the Dotmatics Suite in 2020.

Presenters
James Creith, Application Scientist

Overview
Make integration with 3rd party systems easier with Dotmatics suite of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).

Learn what APIs are and how you can use them to programmatically interact with the entire platform in a general overview. A demonstration will cover example integrations with Browser, Bioregister, Register, Studies and Studies Notebook, switching between Postman and a live Dotmatics instance. The Bioregister example will show how Semantics annotations can be introduced via API calls. From registration, to data processing and querying, discover how to create entire workflows in Dotmatics. This breakout will interest data scientists wishing to explore integration and automation opportunities.

Presenters
Matteo Mangioni,  Application Scientist
Laura Huerta Martinez, Senior Application Scientist

Overview
In medicinal chemistry, managing and prioritizing activities on a knowledge-driven basis can often be a challenging task. With a constant flow of new data coming from the laboratories every day, scientists may struggle in keeping up to date at the desired pace. Also, supporting and presenting new work hypotheses can be slowed down by several process bottlenecks, including, among the major issues, the transfer of information across poorly integrated tools.

In this session we will show how our new Chemistry Design application fully integrates with Browser to build a framework for analysing and visualizing medicinal chemistry data, using a set of powerful yet easily accessible tools. The framework can then be used to generate, organize and immediately share new ideas, increasing knowledge and improving effective collaboration in the scientific team.

Presenters
Lorenzo Perugini,  Application Scientist

Overview
The Special Circumstances group at Dotmatics have released a simple prototype AI implementation. Come and hear all about it.

Presenters
Dan Ormsby,  Senior Consultant
