We are looking for a college graduate to join our inside sales team with the aspiration to progress into account management. Outbound calling and life sciences experience would be beneficial.
This is a target driven role, so you must be a motivated self-starter with ambition and drive. This is a highly rewarding role with added benefits including comprehensive sales training provided by an experienced Sales Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Researching new prospects and organizations in the life sciences, chemical, and fine chemical industries
- Arranging meetings for Account Managers
- Outbound calling to new prospects with a view to booking meetings
- Qualifying new inbound leads
- Working directly with Application Scientists to arrange and deliver the appropriate demonstration during meetings
- Supporting events – driving attendance at seminars and events
- Consistently meet and exceed targets
- Provide excellent customer service and ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Maintain and document all activities in Salesforce
- Proposal and quotation writing
- Motivated and driven self-starter
- Life sciences experience is desirable
- A bachelor level degree or higher in the sciences preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Great personable skills – You will be working with and relying on colleagues at times so it is essential you are able to build good relationships with your colleagues
